Back in the winter I got a call from the Canadian Down Syndrome Society to see if I would be interested in volunteering to shoot their annual conference which was being held in Vancouver this year in May. I was delighted! I always have good intentions of giving back to the community but don’t always know how or put a lot of effort into searching.
This event was so much fun and so many people put their heart and souls into making it happen.
The weekend started out with an opening reception, a few performances and activities for the kids.

Saturday had keynote speakers including news anchor Tamara Taggart and motivational speaker Robert Pio Hajjar.
