Last week in Maui I got a hold of Patty, a local Maui model, actress and make up artist to do a quick creative shoot. She was fantastic, letting us drag her up country up the side of the volcano Haleakala into the pasture lands and cold. Cold? In Maui? Yup, the volcano rises so much in elevation that the climate dramatically changes. I love it up there; super green and lush and full of stunning Jacaranda trees with their electric purple flowers. I could have shot for hours and hours but we had only a small amount of time to shoot and I LOVE what we managed to get in that time. I look forward to heading back to Maui and working with Patty again on some projects in the future
PS the bouquet is made up of local tropical flowers and cost $4 at a roadside stand!
