One of my very favorite things about photographing my awesome clients’ weddings is being invited into the most intimate of celebrations. Every single person there is there because of their love of the bride and groom. Saturday was no exception. Ashley and Jamie were married on the Great Lawn at Van Dusen Gardens – one of my favorite spots in Vancouver – with the sun shining and the flowers blooming. The two of them made such a stunning couple and Ashley could not stop smiling and laughing the whole day. From the vows to the walk through the gardens, to the hilarious and heartfelt speeches at the reception, the day was perfect! (Also, the food was perfect!!! Thank you Emelles!) The couple has requested that I only show photos of them online to protect their guests’ privacy and careers.
Ashley and Jamie are off in France right now, hopefully strolling around on cobblestones in the sun, sipping tiny coffees. I hope when they see these photos at their hotel or internet cafe they bring back the beauty and fun of their wedding last Saturday “) xoxox
