NYC :: { VANCOUVER TRAVEL PHOTOGRAPHER }

Last month my cousin and I traveled to New York City for a quick visit, taking in as much as we could. This was our third trip and each time we see a little bit more in bite sized pieces. It would take a lifetime to really get a sense of this place; the history, the attitude, the moods…. the food!

New York High Line!
Cucumber lime:)
Lunch at MOMA
The Guggenheim:)
We did a walking foodie tour one afternoon and grazed our way through Soho, stopping first at the GranDaisy Bakery for some incredible thin crust pizza.
Zucchini (with a fancy cheese that I can’t remember) and butternut squash!
Its taken me three trips to begin to grasp the enormity of this city. Its like trying to comprehend the universe. Huge.
Next we stopped at Choco Bolo for some flour-less chocolate cake.
We sampled cheese and sausage at Alleva, a landmark deli with a long history.
LOVE these girls!
Ferrara cannoli – Little Italy.
Chinatown – rated the best pork dumpling in town.
This day I wandered the city and managed to have two lunches;)Cappuccino, savory tart and madelaine was lunch number two.
Malbec tasting at City Winery.

FAMILY CARDS :: { VANCOUVER FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER }

As a compliment to the lovely family albums and accordions I am offering this year, I also have various styles of cards. These 5×7 flat cards pictured below have been the most popular so far, allowing for family members to easily pop them into a frame after receiving them. They are printed on a thick pearl card-stock and are a great way to say hello to friends and family:)

Homemade coconut macaroons with almond flour.
WILD GINGER!!!!!!! I have a small addiction to ginger and this much ginger growing wild and free nearly blew my mind. Ha ha!
So many beautiful waterfalls.
Gotta love honor-system roadside stands:)The coconut brittle was amazing!
Church in Hana
Love this tree.
Colin dubbed this the “Hawaiian car alarm”.
Goofing around while location scouting in the Upcountry!
Bored in the car….
Helicopter ride around the west mountains and over to Molokai.
Ridiculous scenery.
We also tried out paddle boarding which was pretty awesome. Very tranquil, relaxing and great for hanging around with sea turtles…
